The Friends of the Helmerich Library (FOHL) is a tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to support and fund programming for all ages throughout the Tulsa City-County Library system.
FOHL raises money by managing an annual book sale every April as well as a year-round, ongoing book sale, both of which are located at the Helmerich Library. Any money raised or donated in excess of regular membership dues is placed directly into a fund established to support the library.
FOHL meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm in the Helmerich Library meeting room (excluding the months of July, August and December).

Donations of gently-used books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles and games are accepted throughout the year at the Helmerich Library during regular business hours.
